grow your own food
If you can, do. From a pot
of basil on the kitchen windowsill to an allotment to a small holding
-do it. It's well worth it, for less food miles for steps towards self-sufficiency,
for sharing with friends and family, for enjoying a glut if you are
lucky, for the best taste, for the knowledge of what went into your
produce and what happened to it next, for freshness- but most of all
- because it is so satisfying to grow your own food.
