house and home

So here we are, not long moved to our new house and somehow aquired more land than we meant to - we planned on a big garden, but the house of our dreams (or it will be one day) came with 2 acres - in the form a large garden, two fields, a collection of small buildings, and a bit of green lane.

 

It's in a bit of a weather beaten location, being on the edge of Dartmoor, but the joy of countryside in one direction, and village in another, makes it a great place to live.

We can only afford it, because the house is in a poor state, and we have alot of work ahead of us. The house demands a lot of our attention, whilst we are keen to get outside. If we get at all down about the work, a walk around the fields soon makes everything ok again.
