pear and chocolate
pudding
poached
pears (enough to make a layer in an oven dish)
3 oz butter/marg
4 oz sugar
1 egg
1.5 oz cocoa powder
4 oz self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
a little milk
strain the syrup from the
pears, and place the pears in the bottom of your dish. Beat together
the sugar and butter and then beat in the egg. Now fold in the flour
and cocoa and baking powder. Mix in enough milk to make a dropping mixture
. Put this pudding batter on top of the pears and bake... until the
pudding has risen a little and is cooked.
