plant pots and labels

Fairly
obvious this one: save your yogurt and cream pots through the year -
most will even go in the dishwasher, then drill some holes and you have
reused the pot as a plant pot! - Will last for many years too - in fact
I wonder why I ever bought pots. Avoid clear pots though, as the roots
of a plant prefer not to see daylight. Clear pots can be cut down to
saucers, for watering, or cut into labels.
I prefer
to make labels out of milk cartons. The plastic is firm and the texture
nicer for writing on. Arm yourself with a nice fine tipped permnent
marker and its perfect. The rest of the milk carton can still be recycled...
as can the used plant labels.
