pumpkin washcloth

Really simple to make, so
long as you are able to knit, purl, cast on and cast off!
you will need:
orange cotton yarn
green cotton yarn
(I used sirdar luxury soft
cotton, but any DK cotton will do)
4mm needles
the ability to knit!
abbreviations:
c/off = cast off
K = knit
P = purl
K2 tog = knit two together
M = make a stitch
instructions:
cast on 10

- knit row (30 stitches)
- K8 P1 K13 P1 K7

2nd stitch, K24 K2tog
- knit row
- K2 slip first stitch over
2nd stitch K22 K2tog
- knit row
- c/off 3 stitches, K to end
- c/off 3 stitches, K to end
- cast off remaining stitches
for the stem: using green yarn
pick and knit 12 stiches, in the middle at the top of your pumpkin. K
3 rows, then cast off.
Sew in ends.
