Hand spun wool, spring time.

Hand spun wool in random spring colours - lilac, green, yellow and peach. Cheering on a grey day!

Wool from our own Devon Closewool sheep, the wool was first hand dyed, in the four shades, then spun.

This is a one off, in three skeins, measuring approx 113 yards (103M)in total, showing the natural variety of handspinning, spun thick and thin, with slubby parts, showing off the wool.

Chunky and soft. Approx WPI of 7

Our sheep are happy sheep, who approach us for a pat and live a comfortable life at our home in the Devonshire countryside.
