sweetcorn fritters
sweetcorn (1 or 2 cobs)
1 egg
4 oz flour
1/4 pint of milk
Beat the egg flour and milk
together. Cut the sweetcorn off the cob with a sharp knife, and mix
into the batter. Heat a little oil then drop spoonfuls of the mixture
into the pan. Turn each fritter and remove to a warm plate once brown
on both sides. Quite filling, so a meal on its on or instead of potato.
