I have always grown veg, from sticking garlic in the greenhouse, as a child, to see if it would make the tomatoes garlic flavoured, to more recent times, when we have standardly grown tomatoes, courgettes, vegetable spagetti, and dabbled in others. Wanting to grow even more, we moved to a place with a bigger garden - lets hope we can manage everything we want to do, whilst both working etc!

So heres where it all started...

and in the first year we dug 6 large veg beds built a greenhouse and raised more veg than before. See our veg patch virtual tour to see the progress in the first year, along with the harvesting lists which I started when I was depressed by the sheer number of pests we have to fight.. the list helps me remember we are winning (most of the time!)
